Next Friday, the Simon Fraser University (SFU) Faculty of Applied Sciences (FAS) is hosting an Indigenous Youth Outreach event on Nov. 10th, 2023 at the Sustainable Energy Engineering building in Surrey, BC. Join the SFU FAS Outreach team and Elder Marie Hooper (Kwikwetlem First Nation) for lunch, an interactive workshop, and a campus tour, including an introduction to the Indigenous Cultural Connections center!
If you're curious about engineering or computer science, have an interest in clean energy or coding, or just want to find out what "Applied Sciences" actually means: this event is for you!
